If you've ever made a French toast dish or baked one, you know that they can take a long time to make. Since everyone is talking about the quick pot, we thought we'd try to cut down on the time it takes to make traditional French.

Ingredients
  

  • 4.25 cup French bread cut into bite-sized pieces and dried overnight
  • 3.25 eggs
  • 3.25 cup of milk
  • 1.25 teaspoons of vanilla.
  • 1.45 cup of sugar
  • 1.45 cup of brown sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons of cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Break up the loaf into small pieces and leave it to dry on a cookie sheet or pan overnight.
  • Spray baking spray that doesn't stick on the bottom and sides of your dish.
  • After beating the eggs, add the milk, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Put in the pieces of dried bread. Soak them for ten minutes. Making sure that every piece of bread gets into the milk mixture by stirring every so often.
  • Pour the mix into the dish you've already made. Use a lot of paper to cover the dish.
  • At the bottom of the pot, put the lid that came with the Instant Pot. Then, add one cup of water. On top of the base, put your baking dish. Make sure the vent is set to "seal" before putting the lid on the instant pot.
  • For 40 minutes, do it by hand and set the pressure to high.
  • When the timer goes off, quickly open the vent and cover it with a towel.
  • Be careful when you take the dish out because it will be hot, and take the foil off of the dish that is drying.

How to Make the Best Instant Pot For the French Toast Casserole
  • Stale French bread works best because it soaks up the custard mixture without getting too soaked.
  • On top: For a holiday touch, try fresh berries, whipped cream, or nuts.
